I have a question. I know I shouldn't have questions because I am the admin here and I am supposed to have answers instead of questions but this is something that I am really curious about. Where the heck is everybody?  I know that Elaine and some of the committee members went to the symposium in Irvine, but since they left I haven't heard a word from anybody. My emails and phone calls go unanswered, nobody knows where anybody is...it's like they all disappeared off of the face of the planet. Not only that, but the same seems to have happened to MUFON. Their website hasn't been updated since July 27. The UFO Stalker map has the same sightings on it that were reported a week ago, and any attempt to look at the latest 20 sightings just brings up a sighting report form. The BoD is also not responding to anything. The MUFON forum admin has asked when the website will be fixed and has gotten no reply. That means that both of us are in the dark as to what the heck is going on. I hope nobody asks me any questions about what is going on because I honestly don't have a clue. |

I still haven't heard anything from anybody. Maybe they are all wearing Bigelow brand concrete shoes and floating at the bottom of the bay.  |

I am still trying to get a hold of somebody...anybody. Both the CRM and the MUFON BoD are still out of contact. This is rediculous. How are we supposed to run a forum if we don't have a clue what is going on? What we obviously have here is a failure to communicate.  The MUFON forum is experiencing the same difficulties that we are here. Their admin can't get a response from anybody either.  |

I finally managed to get a hold of the Committee. Apparently they were trying to get caught up on personal things after spending so much time arguing with MUFON at the symposium. They are determined to continue fighting. I'll let you know when I get more details on what the next plan is.

I have heard some people taliking about forming a new orgaization. That would be a lot of work though. I have already joined EPIC so I am covered either way.

Your just another in a long line of who attempt to squash free speech and cause problems , when some thing is said against MUFON. plain and simple. I'm still waiting to hear what the Committee's plans are for the future. They claim they are going to continue trying to solve MUFON's problems but I haven't heard any concrete plans yet. We'll see what happens.

I am waiting to see what MUFON is going to do. Things have been pretty quiet since the symposium. They are probably busy planning their next big screw up and when it happens I will be there to report it. |

I wouldn't count on the CRM.
This is a quote from email from Elaine to me when I asked what the plan going forward was. There was more, but this was the important part.
"The Committee to Reform MUFON has never had a plan. What we have done is move forward in the ways that presented themselves, and we have learned quite a bit—about the apathy in MUFON, the determination of the Board to retain their position, and, apparently, that an intelligence operation is going on in MUFON. "
The lack of planning and the lack of follow up is disappointing. They knew the BoD wasn't going to accept the petition and didn't plan on anything for anything moving forward. They are just going to sit back and see how it impacts MUFON members.
For a group with lofty goals, they really had no plan beyond 7/29/11 and that is a shame.

The CRM isn't really a formal organization, or an alternative to MUFON. They are more of a response to the problems that MUFON has created. I think they are just taking things one step at a time and evaluating the situation before planning their next move. They may not always do the best thing but at least they are trying to do something and if MUFON is to be saved something is going to have to be done. Right now it appears they are nothing more than a lapdog to Bigelow who is a lapdog to the government. That means that MUFON has now become part of the government cover-up that they were originally formed to fight against. They are their own worst enemy...that's why they need to be reformed.

Whu' happin'? The Committee was abducted en masse, their fliers confiscated, and the memories of other attendees at Irvine wiped.
